WELCOME to The Joyful Cottage and Joyfully Modest, we're glad you're here!!  My name is Ginny Freitas and I'm the owner of The Joyful Cottage & Joyfully Modest, which we've just combined into 1 website to better serve you.  I opened The Joyful Cottage in the Spring of 2007 in loving memory of my precious 14 year old daughter Joy Rose who went to be with the Lord on 12-12-05 after a long and extremely courageous battle with cancer.   I purchased Joyfully Modest in the Spring of 2008 from it's previous owner, my dear friend Samantha LaGoy.  I am a stay-at-home Mom who loves the Lord and serving Him.  It's my goal to do all that I can to meet your sewing needs.  If you're ever in Kentucky please call and come visit The Joyful Cottage "real live store" we'd love to meet you in person!!  (270)384-9117

My youngest daughter, Noelle, will be helping me here at The Joyful Cottage & Joyfully Modest.  I have been sewing for 35+ years due to the encouragement that my grandma Mary Nivison gave me.  I remember sitting with her as she sewed lots of pretty and practical things for my cousin and I.   I started sewing for the public about 18 years ago and hope to sew for the public for MANY years to come.
